DBConnect ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile database client for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Your database credentials (host, user, password, SSH keys) are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service.

We do not store or transmit your database queries or query results.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not share data with AI services.
We do not require account registration.

3. Local Data Storage

All connection profiles, saved queries, and query history are stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage (secure keychain for sensitive credentials). Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

DBConnect offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through the App Store / Google Play. Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Apple / Google — we do not process payment card data directly. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings.

6. Children's Privacy

DBConnect is intended for developers and IT professionals aged 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

All user data stored locally can be deleted by uninstalling the app. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Firebase's standard policies (up to 14 months). To request deletion of any analytics data associated with your device, contact us below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
